Recent "Ice-blocking" Fun:

Of course the proper attire for ice-blocking: GOGGLES! Yes, we ARE cool! :) hehe. And then of course Dibble (Whitney Dibble to be precise) is sporting the towel cape which of course is also the normal outer-wear for ice blocking.

Even though this is some random chick at a party New Years Eve (which by the way turned out to be a disaster)... I thought this was such a good picture of Troy, I just had to let you all see it!
I have to give a little shout out to mom on this one. That is just the cutest outfit ever! And Dena looks gorgeous as always.

As promised

Since you basically asked me to post this picture Melissa, I just couldn't slip up and forget it!! Look how happy you are, how could I not share this with the world??
Sorry Whit, this is my only picture of you from Christmas, so I had to represent and put it up. How the returns go? Did you get stuff you liked that fit?

Sincere Joy

Look at the surprise and sheer joy Shane got out of his Christmas gifts. Just one of many amazing photos.

Hey, hey, hey! Look at this cutie holding up her new outfit from Grammy Pammie. She is getting to be so big, it's crazy to me that little Kaya's already in the second grade and playing basketball too!! Keep it up!
And of course, the tear jerker. Dena really knows how to pick 'em. Look at that shot. I'm so good.
Missing in action....

This of course is after the most famous quote of all time after recieving a Christmas gift. First of all, Elizabeth immediately jumped out of her chair to give her Auntie Rachel (pronounced Rashol) a hug when she saw it was Polly Pocket. Which, as we all know, is very rare. Most of the time you have to ask the kids at least three times to give their present giver a hug. Anyway, continuing on... Uncle Troy asks her if she's excited about her present (I actually can't remember what he asked her, to be honest) and she remarks (very excitedly, I might add) "I've been waiting for this for years!" Who would have thought this four year old has been waiting to get Polly Pocket since age two or before! It amazes me how cute kids can be. That was one of my highlights of all winter break. :)
Can you say dimples? Goodness, look how big that boy is! Thanks to uncle Shane he can stand now too!
Ahh, how cute. Auntie Dena and the girls with their new Christmas dresses on Christmas Eve. They all look so beautiful!

Hey, 26 posts in one night... you gotta be proud of that! welp, I've updated alllll of my photos on my yahoo photo book. Check em out! It took me all night, it's the least you could do! :)
enjoy!

Obivously a lot of updating needed to happen....

Well hello all, sorry for the mass update but obviously tonight is the first chance I've had to get to it. I'm out of school now if you can't tell from the recent "free-time" I've experienced... I'm really not quite sure of what to do with myself! I'm sitting here watching tv, movies, I think I might just read a book after I'm done with this... is real life like this or am I just a lucky student on Christmas break???? Nonetheless I'm grateful, even if I do see poor grades when they come out... in the end, I think all that matters is that I'm still alive.... being finished is really what has the value. Welp, hope you enjoy the posts and take in my last couple of months, mostly with the volleyball team livin it up as always. We did well this year, we'll do better next year. I just got a job with CIS (computer information systems dept. at SPU). I'm nervous but excited. It'll be great experience and for me, probably really really stressful but I'm up for the challenge and glad I've been blessed with the opportunity. Getting this job has blessed me to have enough experience to hopefully(if everything else goes well...) to get into the grad/masters program(Information Systems Management) next year and continue to do the thing I love (volleyball) with the people I love(my girls, duh!)... I'm really shocked everything is working out as planned. Life seems okay and I'm happy to still be hangin in here. I can't wait to come home and spend time with my fam. I love you all so much and really wish it was more than just the breaks to spend time together but I guess that's what happens. I'll try to update my yahoo photo album and let you know when it's current! probably later this evening.... :)
peace,
Rachel :)

Here's the whole team... off to Regionals! ...ps, don't ask why I'm leaning in so much when clearly there is tons of room on my side of the picture to stand like a normal person... even though I'm not sure I'm capable... idiot!
