like i'm going to take advice from some annonymous comment-er. maybe if you'd reveal yourself we could talk. but really it's too late, I've made up my mind. I'm switching and I'm very excited to be doing so.
the so called anon commenter is your oldest brother. He, I believe, is speaking from personal experience. The good news is that you can't do anything now--you have to finish the semester. That is a long time to consider what will happen later. My suggestion is to do as well as you can and take your program's suggested courses until you actually (next august) switch over, if you do in fact switch. That way, you don't burn any bridges. In my life, I've learned to never burn a bridge that you're walking on.
I don't get you tr. I thought you were happy about my decision?? Anyway, it's already been made, so, sorry if that's not what you want to hear. And by the way, I'm definitely not burning any bridges. My advisor lady who's in charge of the whole program is happy with the decision and wished me good luck. I will take education masters classes in winter and spring and have that component completely done with and paid for (via athletics) before the program starts in the summer. So really, this is good that I'm taking the education classes now. It is cost effective. Love you! Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I'm a big girl, I can make decisions and be responsible. Thanks for the heads up and the love though. I will work hard and try to do well this quarter so don't worry about that. I will finish with flying colors; it's the only way I know how. :)
I love being outdoors, playing sports, and doing anything active. I love to sing and dance. I LOVE laughing! I love playing games and hanging out with friends and family.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
